Azerbaijani First Lady attends first meeting of European Games Coordinating Committee (PHOTO)

The first meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the first European Games, which will be held in Baku in 2015, was held on Tuesday.

The first meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the first European Games, which will be held in Baku in 2015, was held on Tuesday.

Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the first European Games, First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva attended the meeting.

Prior to the meeting, Mehriban Aliyeva met with President of the European Olympic Committees (EOC), Patrick Hickey and President of Hellenic Olympic Committee Spyros Kapralos, Azerbaijani First Lady's official website reported.

Availability of Azerbaijan's good potential and experience to organize high-level European games was stressed at the meeting.

Then the session kicked off with First Lady of Azerbaijan making a speech at the opening.

Patrick Hickey, Spyros Kapralos and others addressed the session as well.

Patrick Hickey presented Mehriban Aliyeva with a logo, made by the European Olympic Committees for special persons.

At the end of the session, the participants posed for a photograph.
