Islamists in Egypt urge the interim head of state Adly Mansour to resign as a sign of protest against killing of 34 supporters of President Morsi by military, Al Jazeera channel reported on Monday.

In addition, according to the chairman of the Islamic party Al-Nur Imadaddin Al Gaffur, the party as a sign of protest against the killings of Morsi supporters refuses to participate in negotiations on the preparation of the "road map" for resolving the conflict in the country.

Some 34 supporters of president Mohammed Morsi, who were carrying out protests in front of the state institutions after the morning prayer, were killed by military in the Egyptian capital of Cairo.

Last Wednesday, the Egyptian military suspended the Constitution's activity, ousted the President Mohamed Morsi, who faced unprecedented protests, and promised to hold early elections of a new president. Egyptian Islamists do not recognize these decisions and demand the return of power to the legally elected president.
