All political forces in Egypt will take part in the formation of a new Constitution and the government as well as other political transformations in the country, the charge d'affaires of the Egyptian ambassador in Azerbaijan Heisam Jalal said at a press conference in Baku on Wednesday.

According to him, the priority of the country's transitional government is the return to democracy.

"The government of interim President Adly Mansour aims at moving the transition towards a system of full democracy within nine months. The work on the drafting of the Constitution will be completed within three to four months and parliamentary elections held in four to five months," Jalal said.

As for the presidential elections, the transitional government of Egypt is committed to carry them within six to eight months after coming to power, Jalal said.

On July 3, Egypt's army ousted President-Islamist Mohammed Morsi from power, suspended the Constitution and instructed the head of the Constitutional Court to act as the head of stated during the transitional period.

Morsi's supporters that disagree with the army's decision have been conducting daily protests demanding the return of the president and restoration of the Constitution.

The Egyptian court also extended the decision to arrest Morsi for 15 days as part of the on-going investigation. The court accused Morsi in cooperation with Hamas as well as the escape from prison during the revolution in 2011.
