Baku, Azerbaijan, Jan. 31
By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:
On the eve of anniversary of the falsified "Armenian genocide" the events of 1915 in Turkey will be explained by representatives of the non-governmental organizations and several politicians on the basis of documents, Turkish Anadolu news agency reported.
The project will be presented at Recep Tayyip Erdogan University on February 26, 2014 on the commemoration day of the Khojaly genocide, which was committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis, according to the report.
Afterwards the project's presentation will be continued at Abdullah Gul, Adam, Mersin, Yozgat and Trabzon universities.
The project's aim is to bring the truth about the events of 1915 to the world community, according to the agency.
It should be noted that each year on April 24 Armenia marks the so-called "Armenian genocide".
Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that the predecessor of modern Turkey, the Ottoman Empire allegedly carried out "genocide" against the Armenians living in Anadolu in 1915. Armenians have achieved recognition of the "genocide" by the parliaments of several countries.
