Azerbaijani parliament’s autumn session kicks off

The autumn session of Azerbaijan's parliament, locally known as the Milli Majlis, kicked off on Sept. 30.
The session, which started with the performance of Azerbaijan's national anthem, will discuss the plan on legislative activities.
Azerbaijani MPs will review the draft laws on documents adopted at various international meetings, interstate documents signed between Azerbaijan, the EU, Italy, Morocco, Vietnam, Uruguay, and other countries.
They will also consider changes to the Code of Administrative Offenses, Customs Code, Tax Code, Labor Code, and others.
Additionally, it is proposed to make changes to the laws on postal service, securities, entrepreneurship, insuring, currency regulation, political parties, municipalities, and others.
