If Armenia decides to take part in the First European Games, to be held in Baku in 2015, Azerbaijan is ready to ensure the security of that country's delegation, Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov said.
He made the remarks Dec. 29 at a press conference dedicated to the results of 2014.
Rahimov said the Armenian side inflates the matter, however, Azerbaijan has repeatedly stated that it stands ready to ensure the security of the Armenian delegation.
The minister also touched upon the issue of double standards in the world in relation to Azerbaijan.
He said some states envy the country's development and can't accept the accelerated development of Azerbaijan, which conducts an independent policy.
The minister also called on the media representatives to fight against international media outlets, which spread biased and preconceived information about Azerbaijan.
