Vast majority supports amendments to Azerbaijan’s Constitution
Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept.27
Head of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov has announced the information received from all 5,627 polling stations where the referendum on making amendments to the country’s constitution was held.
Up to the moment, information has been received from 5,627 polling stations of 125 constituencies operating throughout the country, said CEC head Mazahir Panahov during the press conference dedicated to the results of the referendum.
The vast majority of the voters supported the amendments to all the paragraphs put up for voting.
The CEC head added that the voter turnout throughout the country stood at 69.7 percent.
