Contacts between Russia and Azerbaijan continue, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said March 2 at a briefing.
She was speaking about the process of appointing Russia’s ambassador to Azerbaijan.
“Our relations with Azerbaijan are developing,” she noted, adding that Russia’s embassy operates in Baku.
Zakharova said that the ambassador’s rotation process is underway.
“This doesn’t affect our relations and contacts with our Azerbaijani counterparts,” she noted.
