Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has accumulated a lot of experience during the elections held previously, and the country has professional electoral experience, CEC Secretary Mikail Rahimov said.
He made the remarks March 5 at a briefing in Baku. Rahimov stressed that Azerbaijan’s Electoral Code is one of the leading electoral codes examined by the Council of Europe.
He noted that Azerbaijan has created all the necessary conditions for democratic and transparent election.
Mikail Rahimov also said that the CEC pays much attention to raising the level of professionalism of the members of the lower election commissions and carries out various activities in this direction.
The presidential election will be held in Azerbaijan on April 11.
