BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 24. Dozens of Russian companies have applied for participating in reconstruction projects of Azerbaijan's liberated territories, Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Russian colleague Sergey Lavrov in Baku on June 24, Trend reports.
"We have the satisfaction of seeing the high-level interest of Russian companies in Karabakh. In October 2021, the joint service center of KAMAZ OJSC and Ganja Automobile Plant Production Association was established in an industrial park in East Zangazur economic region. Among significant projects involving Russian companies we can note the Horadiz-Aghband project, as part of which railway tracks are being supplied by Russian companies. One third of the 20,000 rails envisaged in the contract, have already been supplied," Bayramov stated.
According to him, business entities of the two countries are currently in constant communication, which is to be reflected in other areas of joint interaction in the near future.
