SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, June 15. Coming together in the city of Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, makes everyone proud, a member of the Fidesz-Hungarian Civic Union party and head of the Hungarian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary friendship group, Attila Tilki said, Trend reports.

He made the remark at the panel session "Unity of common values and modernity: party diplomacy as a new dialogue platform" within the framework of the international conference "Organization of Turkic States: towards new strategic goals in the context of geopolitical realities and global cataclysms" held in Shusha on June 15.

He mentioned that, like Hungary, double standards are applied to Azerbaijan by the European Union.

"These actions of the authority, which vigorously declares about justice and law, are unacceptable," he emphasized.

Furthermore, while providing information on the electoral process in his country, Tilki noted that an opportunity has been created for migrants from different countries, including Azerbaijan, to vote in the elections. He regretted that the European Union had penalized Hungary for this and demanded compensation.

The head of the Hungarian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary friendship group added that the large-scale construction and reconstruction works carried out in Karabakh and East Zangezur, as well as the restored infrastructure, are admirable.

To note, the international conference "Organization of Turkic States: towards new strategic goals in the context of geopolitical realities and global cataclysms" is being held in Shusha under the organization of the New Azerbaijan Party. The conference is attended by up to 300 guests, including leaders of the ruling parties of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and observers.

Three plenary sessions will be organized within the framework of the international conference: "Organization of Turkic States: Regional contribution to global security," "Unity of modernity and common values: Party diplomacy as a new platform for dialogue," and "Turkic World 2040: a conceptual view of the future".
