PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN SIGNED DECREE ON HOLDING 33-TH CONFERENCE OF OIC COUNTRIES FM HEADS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed on 11 August a Decree on holding the next 33-th conference of Foreign Ministers of countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in 2006 in Baku.

In accordance with the documents the organizational committee under the chairmanship of the Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Arthur Rasizade is set up. The Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov appointed his deputy.

Heads of many Ministries and Departments comprise the Committee. The group is entrusted with developing of the relevant program of measures and ensuring their fulfillment.

The decision to hold a 33-th conference of the Foreign Ministers in Baku was taken on 28-30 July in Yemen at the 32-th Conference of heads of FM OIC.
