The Minister of National Security of Azerbaijan Eldar Mahmudov confirmed the fact of detecting additional suspected persons in committing murder of the Monitor magazine editor-in-chief Elmar Huseynov.
The reason for concealing the names of the suspected the Minister explained by its impediment to the course of the investigation process, Trend reports.
В"Strict investigative actions on the murder of Elmar Huseynov are underway. As you know, Tahir Hubanov and Teymuraz Aliyev are currently in search. In this connection the Georgian special services officials were recently in Baku.
They were received by the President and the issue was discussed at this meeting. I suppose, we will catch these criminals. As
you know, implementation of mutual investigative and operative measures with other countries causes some difficulties.
According to Mahmudov, officials from the Georgian special services stated, they will create all conditions for the work of the investigative group in Georgia and “we witnessed it, when the investigation group was sent recently to Georgia”.
В"Despite the yellow press writes various fabrications on the murder, the investigation is on the rights track. I think we will obtain positive results. There are innumerous suspicious persons, around which investigative and operative measures are taken. We cannot publicize their names, as it is the investigation secrecy”, the Minister noted.
