The PACE representatives, who is on visit to Azerbaijan, met with Mazahir Panahov, the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Election Committee (CEC), on Friday. Attending the event were Andres Herkel and Andreas Gross, the PACE co-rapporteurs on Azerbaijan, and Leo Platvoed, the head of the CE observation mission, Trend reports.
The meeting focused on the results of the 6 November parliamentary elections. Panahov informed the guests about the elections i.e the number of candidates, their political allegiance, local and international observers.
