“The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will hold three events in Paris in December,” MP Asim Mollazade, the Azerbaijnai delegate at PACE, told Trend.
The first event is the roundtable dedicated to the situation in Chechnya to be staged on 12 December, the meeting of the Political Committee - 14 December, and the meeting of the Monitoring Committee - 5 December. “I will come out on the situation in Belarus at the meeting of the Political Committee as PACE co-rapporteur on this country,” Mollazade underlined.
PACE co-rapporteurs Andreas Gross and Andres Herkel will deliver reports on the results of the 6 November parliamentary elections at the meeting of the Monitoring Committee. Mollazade voiced hope that the decision of the organization in regard to the election results would be positive.
