Ukrainian military delegation discusses in Baku establishment of int’l center for training of avia-personnel

A working group of the Air Forces Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces led by Lieutenant-General Igor Romanenko, the deputy commander of the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on military training and high schools, also the head of the battle training, is in Baku, Trend report in reference to UNIAN Ukrainian agency.

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry announced that the visit targets unification of the position of sides on the training of Azerbaijani military pilots through the assistance of Ukrainian specialist and in the airliners of the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as establishment of the International Center on training of aviation personnel and specialists in the territory of Azerbaijan.

In particular, the sides plan to discuss draft contacts on training of personnel and specialists. Representatives from the Ukrainian Air Forces also plan familiarize their Azerbaijani counterparts with real proposals on the establishment of the International Center on training of aviation personnel and specialists.

During stay in Azerbaijan the Ukrainian military will analyze the state of implementation of a Protocol of Intention on training of a aviation personnel and specialists of the countries, undersigned in Baku on 7 July 2005 between the delegations of Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
