This year three groups of 104 peace-keepers have been sent to Iraq, Kosovo and Afghanistan, the acting head of the Azerbaijans Defense Ministry press service Ilgar Verdiyev told Trend.
The peace-keeping groups, who served in Kosovo and Afghanistan and whose service period is expired, have been recalled back by the order of the Defense Minister. These peace-keeping groups have been replaced by new ones. В"From the new peace-keepers 90 servicemen are sent to Iraq, 9-to Kosovo, 5- to Afghanistan, Verdiyev said.
