Secretary of Ukrainian Security Council discusses in Baku Ukrainian president's forthcoming visit to Azerbaijan

The energy security and the resolution of suspended conflicts were on focus on during the meeting between the Secretary Council of Ukraine, Anatoliy Kinakh and the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, Igor Kizima the Charge daffaires of Ukraine in Azerbaijan, told Trend.

Kizima said the meeting with Kinakh once more testified Ukraines loyalty to the idea of development of transport corridors. The Secretary of the Security Council also stated Ukraines support to the peaceable resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on base territorial integrity and rules of law, the diplomat

added.

On the second day of the visit to Baku Kinakh will hold meetings with Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, while on Wednesday he had a meeting Present Ilham Aliyev, the head of staff of the Presidents Executive Power, Ramiz Mehdiyev and Vice Premier Abbas Abbasov. Kinakh has accomplished his visit to Azerbaijan and is to leave Baku on Thursday evening.

During the talks the sides also mulled the forthcoming visit of Ukrainian President Victor Yuschenko to Azerbaijan. Currently the date of the visit is under consideration, as it is to be defined in compliance with the Azerbaijani Presents business schedule.
