The Saint-Petersburg forum of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly (IPA) will take place on 13-14 June, the Azerbaijan Milli Mejlis delegate to CIS IPA Aydin Djafarov told Trend.
Documents on preparation of the charter for the International Institute for Monitoring of democracy development, protection of electoral rights of citizens and strengthening of parliamentarism will be approved at the Saint-Petersburgs forum.
The Azerbaijan delegation which took part in the sitting of the CIS IPA Council in Kiev held meetings with the chairman of the Chamber of Parliament of Belarus, Gennady Nevinski, the chairman of the Verhovnaya Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Litvin and other officials.
The delegation of Azerbaijan comprises the vice-Speaker of the Parliament Valeh Aleskerov, the chairman of the parliamentary permanent commission on regional issues Arif Ragimzade and Aydin Djafarov.
