Members of Azadlyg bloc not to undertake a responsibility on joint participation in the forthcoming elections

Members of the political bloc Azadlyg, a biggest opposition alliance, which is currently being formed on a new composition, will not undertake a responsibility for joint participation in the forthcoming elections, Sardar Jalaloglu, the first vice chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party, a co-founder of the bloc, told Trend.

He informed that elections bloc Azadlyg which was transformed to a political bloc will try to achieve constitutional changes in the country, conduct of parliamentary elections ahead of schedule, establishment of democratic political environment. Jalaloglu said that the agreement to be signed by all members does not include ant item on the forthcoming elections (presidential, parliamentary, municipal). The political bloc is not established for joint participation in the elections. Further decisions will be taken depending on the situation, he underlined.

An agreement on establishment and management of political bloc Azadlyg will be signed by the chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP, reformers), Ali Karimli, the leader of the National Unity Movement, Lala Shovkat, the chairman of the another wing of Azerbaijan National Independence Party (ANIP), and vice chairman of the ADP, Sardar Jalaloglu.
