GUAM permanent delegates to CE to hold meetings to discuss co-op -Agshin Mehdiyev

The GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova) permanent delegates to the Council of Europe will hold meetings to discuss the ways of the cooperation of the GUAM countries within the organization and its structural subunits, Trend reports quoting Agshin Mehdiyev, the GUAM permanent delegate to CE.

According to Mehdiyev, the decision was made as a result of the last meeting of the former chairs in Strasburg. The sides come to an agreement on establishment of permanent mechanism of consultations and practical cooperation to develop a joint approach to the issues stirring GUAM, he underlined.

Exact agreements have been achieved on the all issues and we hope that the mechanism will work, the Azerbaijani diplomat added. He noted the GUAM permanent delegates held negotiations in the past as well, but they were of sporadic character.
