The Azerbaijani delegation will raise the issue of destroying of the historic monuments, flora and fauna of Azerbaijan as a result of the Armenian occupation policy at the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Trend reports citing Aydin Mirzazade, a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE.
In accordance with procedure, such issues can not be raised at once. PACE will discuss the state of the refugees and internally displaced people in Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia on 13 April. We will raise the issue of destroying of historic monuments, appropriation of some of them, plunder of natural wealth in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan by Armenians, Mirzazade stressed.
During every session the Cabinet of Ministers of CE receives inquiry for some issues. The Azerbaijani delegation plans to send an inquiry in relation to the issue. In contrast to Armenians, the Azerbaijani delegation always spoke basing on reliable facts. We have sufficient data and facts on destroying of out cultural and natural wealth by Armenians, Mirzazade underlined. These facts will be used during discussion of the issue.
