IRELI (Go Ahead), the Azerbaijan National Youth Movement promulgated a declaration expressing their protest against discussions in French Senate of the bill implying imprisonment for denying fictitious Armenian genocide, reports Trend with reference Farhad Mammadov, to the founder of the youth movement.

The document reads: В"Recently the Armenian Diaspora and some politicians of European countries who are under the patronage of the latter and who are considered messengers of freedom and democracy raised the question of fictitious Armenian genocide again and turned against Turkey. Discussion of the bill concerning the so-called Armenian genocide in the French Senate also upsets Azeri youth. Applying one year imprisonment to French citizens who do not recognize fictitious Armenian genocide has aggravated relations between France and Turkey.В"

Mammadov told that the movement which he represents is discussing the mentioned bill, which limits freedom of word and thinking, one of basic principles of democracy.

В"The youth in Azerbaijan is waiting for respond of European countries to such position of France. Otherwise, they will conduct protest actions concluded Mammadov.
