On May 27 Ministers of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan and Georgia, Azad Rahimov Georgiy Gabashvili met at border checkpoint Girmizi Kerpu of Gazah area of Azerbaijan, Trend reports quoting Ragif Abbasov, head of press service, Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan.
Ministers and their delegations attended martyrs Alley, brought flowers to the monument of late Azeri president Heydar Aliyev in Gazah area. Further, the program includes the ministers meeting with discussion of prospects for mutual cooperation in youth policy and sports. The ministers are also going to sign a protocol for cooperation for years 2006-2007 and the action plan suggesting mutual organization of youth events in Azerbaijan and Georgia and other related issues.
Upon the completion of official ceremonies, a concert will be held with performance of the two countries musicians.
