The concluding results of the municipal elections held on 6 October in Azerbaijan will be confirmed by the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan (CEC) within 30 days after voting, Trend reports with reference to the CEC.
The results will not be forwarded to the Constitutional Court for conformation. It should be mentioned that according to the legislation of Azerbaijan, the concluding results of the parliamentary election s and referendums are confirmed by the Constitutional Court. But during the municipal elections, the protocols of the election districts are considered and confirmed by the CEC.
