Azerbaijan and Kuwait intend to expand the co-operation in the sphere of health. The prospects of the future co-operation were discussed at the meeting between the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kuwait Shahin Abdullayev and the Health Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, Abdullayev exclusively told Trend.
According to the Ambassador, he delivered the invitation of the Azerbaijani side to send its physicians and specialists to this country. The ambassador drew the attention of the Minister to the existence of such co-operation with Saudi Arabia where Azerbaijan specialists successfully function.
The Ambassador said that the Minister of Kuwait attached a great importance to this initiative of the Azerbaijani side and mentioned the necessity of working out an appropriate legal base for the co-operation of the two countries in this sphere. The sides reached an agreement to prepare a relevant agreement project and establish co-operation in the sphere of health in the near future, the Ambassador added.
