Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has approved a Bill of Azerbaijan republic On Ratification of the Agreement between Azerbaijan Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan on Assistance and Creating Conditions for Carrying Oil from Kazakhstan via the Caspian sea and the Territory of Azerbaijan to International Markets by means of the Pipeline System Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC), Trend reports referring to a message spread in the official press.
The corresponding agreement was signed in Astana (Kazakhstan) in June, 2006, and envisages piping of 25 m. of Kazakhstan's oil to international markets by installing the system Aktau-Baku.
