In January 2007, Azerbaijani President to Visit France by an Invitation of French President
In January 2007, Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan will pay a state visit France, due to the invitation from Jacques Chirac, the French President, said Novruz Mammadov, Chief of the External Affairs Department of the Azerbaijan Presidential Administration, Trend reports.
According to Mr. Mammadov, the visit of the Azerbaijan President to France is expected to last for three days.
The forthcoming visit will differ from the previous one. It will serve as an example that Azerbaijan relations with France is at a highest level, he said.
The Chief of the External Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration remembered the recent visit of the French entrepreneurs to Baku. That is a good example of our relations, he said.
A meeting of the Azerbaijan-French Intergovernmental Commission will be held prior to the forthcoming visit of the Azerbaijan President to France.
