The Azerbaijani politician, Vafa Guluzade, informed Trend that adopting the draft law on official recognition of alleged Armenian genocide, which has been devised and presented to Congress by pro-Armenian congressmen of the US Congress, is unreal. According to the politician, the United States pursues the policy of destroying regional states in the Near East, has destroyed Iraq and the issue of Afghanistan is at the forefront.
Consequently, Turkey remains the only large Muslim country in the region. Therefore, I consider that the USA prepares itself to hit Turkey in the future. To differently assess differently the hostile act of one NATO member to another NATO member is impossible, the politician considers.
According to Guluzade, the question of the alleged Armenian genocide is the work of scientists, but is not the work of the American Congress and has no relations with contemporary Turkey.
According to another politician, Rasim Musabeyov, taking into consideration that the US Administration does not possess a majority in the House of Representatives or Senate, the risk of adoption of the draft law on the alleged Armenian genocide by the US Congress is very high. He said that this policy may be very successful for pro-Armenian congressmen. In addition, the politician considers that the US Administration has enough sources to explain the results of this situation.
