Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend P.Amirjanov / On 13 March the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbangulu Berdimuhammadov, phoned to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The President of Turkmenistan expressed his gratitude to Ilham Aliyev for the congratulation letter sent to Berdimuhammadov on his election as President. He stressed that Turkmenistan is interested in developing the bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, adding that his Country stands ready to implement concrete projects for this purpose.
In his turn, Ilham Aliyev, stated that Azerbaijan is ready to develop the co-operation with Turkmenistan. The State Heads discussed issues of mutual interest.
