Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr I. Alizadeh / The Law Draft on Additional Authorities for Municipalities will be discussed during the meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament to be held on 13 April.
The law draft was developed by the Parliamentary Permanent Commission on Regional Affairs and provides for additional authorities for municipalities in the settlement of important issues. Corresponding executive bodies can provide the municipalities with the authority to deal with State property management, exploitation of uninhabited premises and infrastructure units, management of public transport, agriculture, education, culture, health care, sports and physical training, registration of facts on the state of historical monuments in the territory, accomplishments of parks, etc.
The "Law Draft on Social Adaptation of the Persons, who Left Penitentiary Bodies" and the "Law Draft on Public Debt" will be discussed during the meeting.
