Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend E.Huseynov, A.Ismaylova, S.Agayeva / The Press Service of the President of Georgia informed Trend that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, will pay a working visit to Georgia on 12 May. The visit aims at attending events of a cultural nature. The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Namik Aliyev, informed from Tbilisi that during his visit, the State Head of Azerbaijan will participate in the opening of a Monument of ex-President of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Heydar Aliyev, in the capital square of Maydan.
The creator of the monument is Natig Aliyev. In addition, the President is expected to attend an opening ceremony of four busts in the Botanic Gardens in Tbilisi where the outstanding literately scholars, Fataly Khan Khoyski, Mirza Shafi Vazeh, Hasan Bay Agayev, Mirzafataly Akhundov have been buried. According to him, the busts of the great sons of Azerbaijan have been re-established by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Moreover, an exhibition, Kir Osman, is understood to be opening in Tbilisi.
