Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / Araz Alizadeh, the chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (SDPA), on a visit to Sweden stated that Luis Ayala, the Socialist International's General Secretary will visit Azerbaijan at the invitation of the SDPA on 5 July.
Alizadeh and Ayala planned to go from Sweden to London on 3 July and then to Baku on 4 July. However, all flights in the London airport were postponed due attempts to commit an act of terror at a UK airport on 3 July.
Ayala's visit to Azerbaijan was initially planned for 25 June, and then postponed to 2 July. The date was changed and scheduled for 4 July and due to an incident at a UK airport the visit was postponed to 5 July.
