Belgian Senator and National Senate Advisory Council for Equal Gender Rights Chairman Dominique Conard began a visit to Azerbaijan on March 29.
Conard hopes the visit will allow the Belgian people to learn more about Azerbaijan and enhance relations between Belgian and Azerbaijani public figures and officials, the Azerbaijani State Committee for Diasporas told Trend .
The Belgium delegation includes senators Marion Lemerse and Sadik Koksal, political advisor Christian Servaes and owner of the Belturk newspaper Sherife Yavas.
The delegation is expected to hold meetings at the Azerbaijani parliament, National Security Ministry, Foreign Ministry and State Committee on Hostages, POWs and Missing People. The delegation will also take a trip to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azerbaijani History Museum.
