Azerbaijani athletes won another two medals at the World Wrestling Championship held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan on Sept.12.
On the fifth day of the championship, the competitions were held among women in the weight class of up to 63 kg and Greco-Roman wrestlers in the weight class of up to 75 and 85 kg.
Elvin Mursaliyev, who was competing in the weight class of up to 75 kg, won a bronze medal defeating the Georgian athlete Zurabi Datunashvili.
In the weight class of up to 85 kg, the silver medalist at the last world championship, Saman Tahmasebi went to the finals, but lost in the final match to a French athlete Melonin Noumonvi and thereby, won a silver medal.
