The highest award of the Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia - the Order of "Glory and Honor" was delivered to Allahshukur Pashazade, the chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, the co-chairman of the CIS Interreligious Council, Sheikhul-Islam, the Caucasian Muslims Office said.
The decree on the award was read out during the 8th international scientific-practical conference entitled "Ideals and values of Islam in the educational plane of the 8th century", being held in Ufa.
The chairman of the Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia Talgat Tadjuddin presented
the order and the gift.
Pashazade delivered speech at the event.
The international conference will continue its work Oct. 23.
