Azerbaijan detains foreigners attempting to violate state border (PHOTO)
Baku, Azerbaijan, June 1
Azerbaijan’s State Border Service and the State Security Service carried out joint measures to detain four citizens of Bangladesh, who were trying to violate Azerbaijan’s state borders, the State Border Service said in a message June 1.
Servicemen of the Goytepe border guard unit established that four people were moving in the direction of Iran. The persons were detained and taken to the outpost.
During the investigation it was established that the persons attempting to violate the state borders were the citizens of Bangladesh born in 1997, 1998 and 1987. Two of them are students of the Baku Eurasian University, and two are students of the Azerbaijan Technical University.
Operative and investigative measures continue.
