Grand Prix Brno Tart Cup 2018, the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament, wrapped up in Czech Republic’s Brno city, the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation said in a message Oct. 15.
The competition, where the national team of Azerbaijan was represented as well, involved 18 countries in senior and junior programs.
Azerbaijani female gymnast Fatima Akbarova successfully performed in this tournament, reaching all four finals.
She took the second place in the ribbon exercise among juniors by scoring 14.450 points and won a silver medal.
Another member of the Azerbaijani national team, Darya Sorokina, who performed in the senior program, took the fourth place in the club exercise.
