The Azerbaijanis living abroad will organize events on the 16th anniversary of the 20 January tradegy in some countries, the State Committee on Azerbaijani Living Abroad told Trend.
The State Committee developed an action plan on the 16th anniversary of the tradegy. The National Federal Culture Autonomy of Russian Azerbaijanis and All-Russian Organization of Azerbaijanis will hold conferences and meetings in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Darband, Kazan, Samara etc.
The events will be also staged in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Czechia, Rumania, Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, the United States, Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan, Australia and Baltic countries.
Exhibitions will be organized to demonstrate video and photo materials about the 20 January tragedy.
The State Committee will render information and material-technical assistance in the organization of the events at the appeals by the representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora.
