The Armenian national football team got into the same group with the Azerbaijani team on the results of casting of lots of the selection tournament Euro-2008 held in Montra.
Wards of Shahin Diniyev are to play with Portugal, Poland, Serbian Montenegro, Belgium, Finland, Armenia and Kazakhstan in the group A, Trend reports. The details of the negotiations between the Federations are unknown, but AFFA voiced intention to play with Armenia on the neutral field.
It should be mentioned that the struggle for right to participate in the tournament Euro-2008 will start among 6 groups of 7 teams and one group of 8 teams in autumn. The two strongest national teams of every section will get into the final round of the tournament to be held in Austria and Switzerland.
