Government to allocate about $7 million for implementation of school building program in Baku and Apsheron peninsular
The government of Azerbaijan is to allocate about $ 7 million for implementation of the Program of the school building in Baku and the Apsheron peninsular, the Azerbaijan Education Ministry told Trend.
The government in 2006 will have to assign around $2,2 million for the program implementation. 18 new schools for 12,880 seats will be built in Baku and Apsheron at the result of this three-year program implementation. From them 10 schools for 9004 seats will be built in Baku and 8 schools for 3876 seats- in Apsheron, the Ministry noted.
Besides, construction of additional buildings for 65 schools with 39,380 seats is planned in Baku. In 2006-2008 construction of 5 more schools is projected in Baku on the account of the Saudi Development Fund.
