The Azerbaijan Representative Office of the Humanitarian Committee Imdad (Assistance) named after Imam Khomeini of the Islamic Republic of Iran has sent 30 Azerbaijani female believers to pilgrimage to Meshhed, a source at the local representative office of Imdad informed Trend.
The group sent to the pilgrimage consists of female believers from Baku, Massali, Lankaran, Shamakhy, Goychay, Ujar. The women flew to Iran by aeroplane.
The Representative Office of the Committee was opened 14 years ago. The activity of the Humanitarian Committee is targeted at refugees, IDPs as well as deprived families of Azerbaijan.
