Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend Z.Safarov / The collected boxing team of Azerbaijan will not attend the training due in Peking.
The President of the National Federation, Agajan Abiyev, explained it with the change in the date of the world championship which will take place in autumn in Chicago. "An international tournament will take place in Peking with the participation of boxers from Russia, Kazakhstan, China and other countries. However, as the date of the championship was postponed from October to autumn, it is not expedient to leave for Peking," Abiyev said.
On the eve of the tour of Chicago, the Azerbaijani team will attend one tournament and currently is re-designing its schedule.
