Azerbaijan’s Central Bank reveals nominal incomes of population

The nominal income of the population of Azerbaijan as of December 1, 2021 increased by 2.8 percent, or 1.446 billion manat ($850.8 million) compared to the same period last year - up to 51.619 billion manat ($30.4 billion), Trend reports citing the Central Bank (CBA).

According to the CBA, during this period, nominal GDP amounted to 39.92 billion manat ($23.5 billion), which is 16.1 percent more than a year earlier.

It is noted that GDP in the non-oil sector in 11M2021 amounted to 50.45 billion manat ($29.7 billion), increasing by 6.4 percent compared to the same period in 2020. Investments in fixed assets amounted to 11.7 billion manat ($6.9 billion), down 7.94 percent compared to the same period last year.

The consumer price index in Azerbaijan during the reporting period increased by 6.2 percent, including for food, beverages and tobacco products - by 7.4 percent, non-food products - by 4.8 percent, paid services to the population - by 5.4 percent over the same period last year.
