Russian Roscosmos corporation has proposed to Azerbaijan to expand cooperation in the field of reviving cities, the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said, Trend reports.
According to Rogozin, new joint projects can be implemented in the field of restoration of the liberated territories, as well as in the space sector.
"Our corporation produces very interesting and beautiful trams, we are ready to supply Azerbaijan with magnetic levitation trains, as well as medical equipment and much more. I would like to say that Roscosmos can become a very important partner for the Azerbaijani economy," Rogozin said in an interview with an Azerbaijani TV channel.
The head of the department stressed that it is planned to cooperate with the Azerbaijani space agency in the field of remote sensing of the Earth from space.
"Azerbaijan needs to create an orbital constellation of spacecraft, we are ready to share experience, as well as provide all the necessary support. We can make Azerbaijan's spacecraft bigger, we could offer very close cooperation here, up to the creation of spacecraft and the creation of joint operator space services for joint space photography and video. Azerbaijan has the necessary resources for this," he said.
In addition, Rogozin said that Roscosmos plans to develop cooperation with Azerbaijan not only in the space sector, but also in the fields of energy, transport and medicine.
Rogozin is planning a working visit to Baku in the near future.
