Export of chemical products from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan increases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. Türkiye increased exports of chemical products to Kyrgyzstan by 8 percent ($37.2 million) from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, the Turkish Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.

Türkiye reduced exports of chemical products to Kyrgyzstan by 29.3 percent ($5.7 million) in July 2023 compared to the same month in 2022.

In addition, Turkish exports of chemical products decreased by 15.3 percent and amounted to $16.7 billion from January through July 2023 year-on-year.

Kyrgyzstan imported from Türkiye $2 billion worth of chemical products in July this year, which is 25.7 percent less than in July last year.

In general, Türkiye exported chemical products worth $30.5 billion over the past 12 months (from July 2022 through July 2023).
