BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 15. The output of polyethylene in Azerbaijan amounted to 112,700 tons from January through August 2023, which is 34 percent more than in the same period of 2022, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of the country, the production of propylene in the reporting period of 2023 amounted to 103,800 tons, up by 28.6 percent on annual basis.

Azerbaijan produced 134,700 tons of propylene, 134,700 tons of polyethylene, 139,800 tons of ethylene, 194,700 tons of iodine, 5.4 million cubic meters of oxygen, 534,500 tons of methanol and 23.4 million cubic meters of nitrogen in 2022.
