BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. The total payments of the 10 leading insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 328.7 million manat ($193.3 million), or 95.06 percent of the total insurance payments from January through August 2023, Trend reports.
In the reporting period, the list of the top 10 companies in terms of payments was topped by PASHA Life Insurance, which accounted for 51.22 percent of the total insurance payments of all insurance companies.
Meanwhile, the company's payments amounted to 177.1 million manat ($104.18 million).
PASHA Insurance, with total insurance payments of 53.8 million manat ($31.6 million), or 15.57 percent of all payments, ranked second, followed by Azerbaijan Industry Insurance, with payments of 21.49 million manat ($12.6 million), or 6.22 percent.
Total payments of all insurance companies in Azerbaijan in the reporting period amounted to 345.79 million manat ($203.4 million).
