BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15. Since the beginning of 2023, Azerbaijan's state budget has been in surplus, Trend reports.
According to figures from the State Statistics Committee, Azerbaijan's state budget receipts topped 29.6 billion manat ($17.4 billion) from January to November 2023, representing a 2.3 percent decrease year on year.
Furthermore, state budget expenditures totaled 29.1 billion manat ($17.1 billion) from January to November 2023, a 12.2 percent increase year on year.
As a result, the state budget had a surplus of 486.8 million manat ($286.3 million) as of late November 2023.
Azerbaijan's nominal GDP over the selected period was 110.2 billion manat ($64.8 billion).

Whereas, Azerbaijan's state budget receipts climbed by 16.2 percent, reaching 30.6 million manat ($18 million) in 2022.
Budget expenditures grew by 16.7 percent last year, totaling 32 million manat ($18.8 million) compared to 2021. As a result, a budget imbalance of 1.3 million manat ($760,000) was formed.
