Azerbaijan's revenues on social insurance contributions grow in 2023

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 12. Revenues on mandatory state social insurance contributions in Azerbaijan grew by 13.3 percent (610.5 million manat or $359 million) in 2023 year-on-year and reached 5.2 billion manat ($3 billion), Trend reports via the State Tax Service under Azerbaijan's Economy Ministry.

The service's data showed that revenues from off-budget organizations increased by 15.1 percent year-on-year and amounted to 3.3 billion manat ($1.9 billion).

Revenues on unemployment insurance contributions increased by 14.2 percent over the year and equaled 183 million manat ($107.6 million); revenues on off-budget organizations rose by 15.1 percent and amounted to 134.2 million manat ($78.9 million).

Revenues on contributions for compulsory medical insurance increased by 14.2 percent year-on-year and amounted to more than 938.8 million manat ($552.2 million); revenues for off-budget organizations increased by 16.3 percent and amounted to 655.5 million manat ($385.59 million).

Revenues on mandatory state social insurance contributions in Azerbaijan increased by 19.2 percent (737.8 million manat or $433.9 million) in 2022 year-on-year and reached 4.6 billion manat ($2.7 billion).
